One of the true superstars of country music, Reba McEntire, is coming to Europe next year, after being announced as the third headliner at the 2017 Country to Country Festival. She joins fellow country giants Brad Paisley and the Zac Brown Band at the top of the bills for the hugely popular three-day event, which takes place in London, Dublin and Glasgow next March.
“I am thrilled to be coming back over to Europe to perform for the folks there,” says McEntire. “You have always been so hospitable to my group and me. C2C is something I've wanted to do for a while so thanks so much for having me.”
The fifth annual C2C will take place over the weekend of 10-12 March, with the bill rotating from one city to the next over the three dates. Among the many other attractions for country fans will be Maren Morris, one of the most successful new names of this year and a hit at her early C2C appearance this year, and other rising artists like Cam, Brothers Osborne and Dan + Shay.
Other major names who'll be making the transatlantic trip include Chris Young, Darius Rucker, Jennifer Nettles and Hunter Hayes, with the welcome addition of five-time Grammy-winner Marty Stuart. This year's C2C saw more than 80,000 fans pack the London, Glasgow and Dublin arenas, witnessing great performances by headliners Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church and other fine sets by Dwight Yoakam, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, Sam Hunt, Chris Stapleton and many others.
